Former Queen's Hotel


The local eyesore that is the former Queen's Hotel has very much been on the community council's agenda for some time and in response to many community concerns, we have been active in raising the need for its development.


On 4th June, we were informed that planning and listed building consent has now been granted permission, subject to conditions.

We will post further information once received but in the interim, see the planning links below.

Shore Street Vacant Plot


A vacant Shore Street plot has been seriously neglected and requires environmental action to support local business and wellbeing.
